MISA partners are working to forge collaborative research and development ties both nationally and internationally.
A visit to South Australia by the Director Institute of Sciences of Food Production, (ISPA), Dr Angelo Visconti, from the Italian region of Puglia, explored a range of potential collaborative projects from aquaculture to nutrageonmics, and food innovation, safety and quality.
Dr Visconti met with MISA Partners from the South Australian Research and Development Institute, PIRSA Aquaculture, Flinders University, University of Adelaide and the South Australian Museum in 2007 at the South Australian Aquatic Sciences Centre at West Beach near Adelaide. The presentations provide an interesting overview of seafood industry research generally in South Australia.
