The Eyre Peninsula will benefit from increased economic activity and employment under the new Marine Innovation SA (MISA) program.

MISA is an initiative of the State Government through the SA Research and Development Institute (SARDI) and Flinders University, in partnership with the Commonwealth Government, other universities, the South Australian Museum and industry.

The groups will collectively spend $25.8 million over the next five years on research to support the ecologically sustainable development of the state’s fisheries, aquaculture and marine eco-tourism industries.
